Canadian corporate tax deadlines

October 31November 30Date to have your bookkeeping to us if we do your tax returns and financial statements. For details on what we need for the year-end, please contact your accounting manager or director. Not sure who this is? Ask me!
September 30November 30Taxes owing due if your company earns inactive income (such as rent, interest, dividends).
August 31November 30Taxes owing due if your company earns active income which was less than $500,000 last year (for all associated companies).
May 31November 30Tax return due.
May 31December 15If there was a year-end bonus, then the payroll remittance is generally due unless you are an “early remitter”.
