December 31December 15Fourth quarterly personal tax instalments are due on December 15. You can pay these directly via your bill payment features of your online banking.
December 31December 20Sell non-qualifying assets in your RRSP before December 31
December 31December 27Pay items eligible for tax deductions or credits before December 31, such as alimony & maintenance, child care, investment counsel fees, professional dues, donations, medical expenses, and political contributions.
December 31December 20Taxpayers who turn 71 during the year can make final RRSP contribution and must convert RRSP to RRIF or life annuities by December 31.

Canadian corporate tax deadlines

October 31December 31Taxes owing due if your company earns inactive income (such as rent, interest, dividends).
September 30December 31Taxes owing due if your company earns active income which was less than $500,000 last year (for all associated companies). Exceptions apply.
June 30December 31Tax return due.
June 30January 15If there was a year-end bonus, then the payroll remittance is generally due unless you are an “early remitter” and need to remit sooner.
