Canadian personal tax deadlines
September 15
If required by the CRA, your personal tax quarterly remittance is due.
Canadian corporate tax deadlines
Year-end | Deadline | Details |
August 31 | September 30 | Date to have your bookkeeping to us if we do your tax returns and financial statements. For details on what we need for the year-end, please contact your accounting manager or director. Not sure who this is? Ask me! |
July 31 | September 30 | Taxes owing due if your company earns inactive income (such as rent, interest, dividends). |
June 30 | September 30 | Taxes owing due if your company earns active income which was less than $500,000 last year (for all associated companies). |
March 31 | September 30 | Tax return due. |
October 15 | If there was a year-end bonus, then the payroll remittance is generally due unless you are an “early remitter”. |
