Canadian personal tax deadlines

September 15

If required by the CRA, your personal tax quarterly remittance is due.

Canadian corporate tax deadlines

August 31September 30Date to have your bookkeeping to us if we do your tax returns and financial statements. For details on what we need for the year-end, please contact your accounting manager or director. Not sure who this is? Ask me!
July 31September 30Taxes owing due if your company earns inactive income (such as rent, interest, dividends).
June 30September 30Taxes owing due if your company earns active income which was less than $500,000 last year (for all associated companies). Exceptions apply.
March 31September 30Tax return due.
October 15If there was a year-end bonus, then the payroll remittance is generally due unless you are an “early remitter” and need to remit sooner.
