About George

Saving the world from tax, one bow tie at a time™

Do wonderful things™

“Go and talk to the guy wearing the bow tie.”

George’s ears perked up. He had been attending a real estate workshop with several hundred people, and across the sea of voices, that is what he heard. It was one of the very first times he sported the fashion accessory, and he’s never looked back.

It’s safe to say that George isn’t your average tax accountant or real estate investor. His high-profile sense of style is perfectly paired with a love of “jumping up on stage” to give presentations, which is just part of what’s made him so sought-after through all his years in the business. George has a unique set of skills and qualifications he’s learned and earned over a lifetime of experience as a Chartered Professional Accountant. Investors seek him out to co-found real estate projects; others look to participate in deals George helps put together. Medical professionals look to George to empower them to think beyond conventional wealth creation and tax savings. But what’s his specialty?

The answer lies in his mission statement: To help people build and protect their real estate portfolio and businesses so they can do wonderful things for their families and their causes.

As George puts it:

“Most accountants will have real estate clients, but a very small number will have substantial real estate portfolios, like I do, that allow them to meld the technical expertise with the practical. My planning services are for select clients investing in Canadian real estate or medical professionals, where I provide bleeding edge tax strategies and access to opportunities to grow wealth in ways normally reserved for the high net worth Canadian families. Whether it is working with my co-founders, co-investors, or with my tax planning clients in real estate, development, and the medical profession, to me, it’s helping families build, retain, and protect their real estate and investment portfolios, and related businesses. In turn, they can meet whatever their objectives are.”

Helping people is just how George was brought up. “Go to church and do good for people,” he recalls. For George, it’s his spiritual health that allows him such generous natural wealth, which he intends to largely give away to others.

“I believe my time on earth is a test for what is to come. Thinking of St. Paul, when I’m done my time here, I should feel like a wet towel which has been wrung dry and has no more water to give. I’m currently unlimited from a cap perspective in what I can donate and share. There is nothing stopping me from buying one more property and being able to help somebody.

“I really am saving the world from tax, one bowtie at a time.”
